The Germans attack in the north – but not along the line I just used to cut them off. They must really thing they can supply this army through one port! At my other breakthrough, they probe the line, but do nothing about the spearpoint. They of course continue to hit me at Smolensk. The width of the front they are breaking is shrinking each week. But they continue to break the line. Then advance into the gap a few kilometres. They don't neglect the southern part of the line. The remains of these units break easily. In the far south they settle for straightening the line. Where they do break through, my new infantry divisions hold the line. I of course get to work widening that breakthrough. Which goes pretty damn well! I keep probing the north flank of Smolensk. And take a bit of ground. I patch the holes up on the areas the Germans are still advancing. I then scan south, looking for opportunities to hurt them. And I'm finding more and more of them! I of course take the time to push more near Fastov. Even encircling a unit.
