We see the start of the attacks near lake Peipus. Attacks are launched down the line at weak spots in my defences. Of course, the main offensive comes at Smolensk. The defenders here take heavy losses. Hundreds of tanks are massed for this assault, and losses amongst them air fairly high – though none of my tanks survive this attack! They are making more headway now. It turns into a proper rent in my lines. Losses are going to take a while to replace. Their only attack in the south is halted. These are some of my heaviest losses since the start of the war. Another bit of the river bank is mine. This is going to be hard to fix. I have to go for a defence in depth, with the hope that my tank corps can unload next week and reinforce the line. Next update
