I expected this one to be a bloody one, and it looks like I won't be disappointed! They attack the breach from both sides, trying to rescue their men. Which they of course do! They then get to work on widening the gap. They are having to use their tanks though, so tank losses are creeping up. They probe the north of the line as well. The fighting in Hungary also flares up. It's a but more even here. We take very heavy losses here. Lots of tanks explode. They have a solid exit corridor now, but will they take it? But it was worth it! There are a few attacks I can make around Poznan. I force some Panzer to retreat. I shift people to the south as well. I surround the city, then push forwards – four Infantry divisions are now mine, and the German fortifications are well behind them I manage one attack to the north. I take any chance to hurt their Panzers, but it's mostly moving up troops into the new territory. That's a nice advance though! Next Update
