We start with a hold. It's not going to be all holds though. We see strikes across the line as the snow sets in again. This is going to be a heavy losses. I'm taking heavy tank losses. But they are also taking losses. These are my heaviest single losses, and boy are they heavy! My tank losses are going to be near a thousand. And my infantry losses near a hundred thousand. Lets see how far they retreat this time! Okay, infantry losses are better than expected, tank losses higher. The tanks spread out to destroy the German lines, then we shatter a Luftwaffe infantry division. I look for weak spots. I open a hole in their line. Then I reconnect the tanks – this will cause more consternation in the German ranks. Fresh troops are being railed in. but the mud's back, so there will not be much in the way of movement.
