Lynn gets some nice armour. Lark gets a new wand. Anmos gets a great new spear. Then we return to our story in the distant past. Mad scientists are never appreciated in their own time. We fade into our current mad scientist. I think this plot point was well telegraphed. To be fair, Fawn was white haired when we met her, over twenty five years ago now. Fawn is the final boss. Calling it now. Then we fade to the present. Our heroes are looking old now, but the call to arms cannot be ignored. The world gets more dangerous. The new lands are to the south. This means the lands to the north are well protected, as the newly discovered pass limits the enemies advance. We're not even five minutes out of camp before an opportunity knocks. Is anyone here not messing with things beyond their ken? Oh gods, what bunch of lunatics are they going to run into this time? Should we ignore our responsibilities, or hammer out the secret project?
