The Germans make a series of strikes near Poznan. At least here they take heavier losses. Again, after these attacks they pull back to their original lines. These are my lowest losses in a long time. I go on the offensive in the north. This should keep the Germans here occupied. I hit a weak spot here. I'm even able to do a limited counter attack near Poznan. I inflict some nice losses here. West of Breslau, the Germans are still weak. Very weak it seems. I open a decent hole, but the snow prevents me from advancing to far into it. We do see some movement along the line near Budapest however. The Germans respond to our advances with a rapid counter attack. They mass their tanks and hit hard. I'm able to blunt their advance here. They are of course active near Poznan as well. The area continues to be a meat grinder. Our losses are once more high. Very high in fact. They also counter attack near Budapest. I begin with the standard counter attacks in Poznan. These are limited after the massive losses we've had in this area. Attacks are more limited in Budapest. I do move more troops into the push at Breslau. I mean, I've had heavier losses, but I had more manpower then! Another few meters closer to Berlin. Next update
