As expected, they counter attack. They make several attacks to reconnect with that trapped unit. They make it on the third attack. They loose a good number of tanks in the fighting. Overall, it's not to big an attack though. I'm not getting much chance to build up. Rome is taken, six months before schedule. Time to make some strikes. There are still some nice weak spots. I'm thinking there is not going to be any major winter offensive this year. So lets just keep things interesting. Here I make a breakthrough though. I push through. This should draw their tanks down here. I make a few hits in the Balkans again. Lets hope this is going to help some. I might call a halt on the attacks after this, to try and build up my forces.
