This is actually a good kill rate. They are still hitting weak units. These guys are trying to escape, but they are mine. MINE! There is an attempt to rescue them, but I “fear” they are just setting themselves up to be captured as well. A mini offense grinds me back a bit here. It's responsible for most of my casualties this turn, but not much ground lost. The kills are close, and I've not even started yet! The RAF keep hitting. Yes, praise me! I cut these troops off, and while there is no fighting, I capture a depot full of construction companies – 5,000 men in total! Let the cleanup begin! That's twenty thousand or so POW's! I can't eliminate the top pocket this turn, but I set up a new one. One attack! Two attacks! Mostly though, they have stopped their fall back, and they are in good order and forming a line I can't break. The south has completely stagnated, so I'm just ignoring it for now. Neither side is breaking through here. I pull a thousand tanks and 30,000 men from the reserves. I then order the construction of 14 cavalry corps. Victory points are going my way, a little.... We are surpassing them in numbers. We push their losses above our own for a second turn in a row. The line is forming up again, but the mud is on it's way, so time to dig in deep would be appreciated. And I still have several units to clean up still. Next Update
